The picture below is on a small island next to Rekjavik, Iceland. Viðey island. Standing on the island after walking hours I found this path. It reminded me the way I feel when I start a project or working on something. I have an idea how to start. Yet, I am not sure how much time it will take and how long will I have to go before I reach the end. I know what is in the end of the road in this picture. Just from the picture no one can see the water. To me this picture is a perfect harmony. An old wooded path, fresh grass and flowers, wonderful air and mountains. It can not get much better than this. The road to the water was a long one. It was worth it. Ideas and projects can take a long time. There are many obstacles on the way. In the end, I can proudly say: ” I done this and it is pretty amazing”.
I stood on this beach now a few years back. The air was clean, the sun was shining and the wind was blowing. This black beach in southern area in Iceland by the ferry in Landeyjahöfn. The area is absolutely beautiful. Looking out on the water is captivating. This is how I feel completing a project. Just amazed.
